Tamani Verwey, MBA, has extensive experience in the oil and energy sector, currently serving as a Sales Officer and Bunker Trader at Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. since September 2014. Responsibilities include managing bunker requests, handling inquiries for international and local sales, and coordinating the sales of Staatsolie's products, including bitumen and fishery market segments. Verwey has also held roles in marketing and administrative capacities within the company, culminating in the position of Sales Officer Lead for local market segments from April 2020 to July 2022. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from FHR School of Business, and foundational education from Anton de Kom Universiteit van Suriname and other institutions.
