Jonathan Samidin has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jonathan started their career as an Afstudeerder Natuurtechnisch Instituut (NATIN) at Surinam Aluminium Company in May 2001. Following that, they worked as a Software Engineer at RPBG, where they wrote applications using Lotus Notes 4.7.6.

In 2002, Jonathan joined Kirpalani as a Programmer, where they wrote applications in Ms Access (VBA), Clipper, and X-base. Jonathan also worked on the conversion of a 16-bit application to 32-bit and the front-end of the X-base application.

Jonathan then worked as a Software Developer at Info2000ICT from August 2006 to February 2007.

From February 2007 to July 2008, they served as an Applicatiebeheerder at Assuria N.V.

In 2008, Jonathan joined Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V. as an Application Administrator JR. Jonathan then advanced to the role of HR Business Analyst Sr. in May 2022. Throughout their tenure at Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V., they acquired diverse skills and certifications, including SAP Business Objects Reporting & Security, Excel VBA Upload/Interface, ABAP Training, SAP ERP Implementation project, ITIL v3 Foundation certification, Achieverplus training, SQL Reporting, and Incident Investigation Technique.

Jonathan also had a brief experience as a Docent at Janssen & Partners N.V. from April 2012 to April 2014.

Jonathan Samidin completed their education as follows: from 2015 to 2018, they pursued a Master's Degree in MSc Information Systems Management at the University of Roehampton. Prior to that, they attended Polytechnic College Suriname from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Elektrotechniek - Informatietechniek. From 1997 to 2001, they studied at Natuur Technisch Instituut, completing their MBO in Elektrotechniek - Informatietechniek. Lastly, from 1993 to 1997, they attended MULO, but no degree or field of study information is available for this period.
