Joy Gallagher, MPA, serves as the Assistant Director of Admissions for Transfer & Graduate Students at St. Thomas Aquinas College since September 2022. Previously, Joy held various roles at the same institution, including Director of Academic Support Services, Associate Director of Academic Services for Student Retention within the Higher Education Opportunity Program, and Assistant Director of Academic Services. Responsibilities included directing Academic Support Services, overseeing academic recovery plans, advising students, and reporting data to the New York State Education Department. Joy began their career in customer relations at Jaguar Land Rover North America and as a Customer Service Manager at Star Auto Sales. Joy earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College, where Joy also captained the NCAA Division II Softball team and participated in academic mentoring activities.
