Emily Lawrence serves as General Counsel for the Saint Paul Port Authority, leading the legal function on various matters including real estate transactions and municipal law. Emily is also a Foundation Board Member at the St. Paul Area Chamber and has been a Board Member and Past Board President for Central Minnesota Legal Services since 2014. Previously, Emily held multiple positions at The Toro Company from 2015 to 2023, overseeing legal aspects of an international real estate portfolio and managing IT vendor risk. Prior legal experience includes a role as Real Estate and Banking Associate Attorney at Stinson Leonard Street LLP and earlier positions in education and legal internships. Emily holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota, along with a Mini MBA Certificate.
