Joseph E. Eid is an accomplished physician-executive with over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Research & Development at Geron Corporation, they lead integrated medical and clinical teams focused on advancing therapies in hematologic malignancies. Their prior roles include various leadership positions at Roche, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Merck, where they managed extensive clinical development and medical affairs strategies in oncology. Joseph has also served as a board member for organizations such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and ANGLE plc. They earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon.
