Dr. Solomon Fields has served as the Senior Pastor of St. John Baptist Church since March 1994, overseeing all church ministries. Prior to this, Dr. Fields worked at Lubbock Power and Light from May 1984 to July 2014, where responsibilities included managing the Customer Service Call Center and leading a significant project for the Utility Billing and Collection Software conversion. Dr. Fields holds a Doctor of Religious Studies in Bible/Biblical Studies from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary, earned from 2015 to 2019, and a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies, obtained from the same institution between 2007 and 2015. Additionally, Dr. Fields completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Texas Tech University from 1974 to 1978.
