Christopher Szarke currently serves as the Rector of St. James Episcopal Church since September 2018, following a tenure as Rector at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. Prior to these roles, Christopher held positions as Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Care at Cortland Regional Medical Center, and as a Supply Priest for the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York. Additional experience includes serving as Chaplain at Cayuga Medical Center and Associate Priest at St. John's Episcopal Church, along with various roles in other parishes. Christopher's educational background includes a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology and a Master of Arts in Culture and Creation Spirituality, among other degrees.
