John Kowalski serves as the Coordinator of Cyber Security for General Motors' Global Plant Operations, supervising IT activities across nine directors to ensure compliance with cyber security standards. With extensive experience in IT management, John currently leads a team of fifteen professionals and manages a global initiative to re-address over 250,000 networked devices. Alongside this role, John is a WISP Network Design and Implementation Engineer, responsible for vital infrastructure supporting rural customers, and an Adjunct Instructor at St. Clair County Community College, teaching various networking courses. John's prior experience includes significant roles at HP Enterprise Services and EDS, along with military service as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. John holds degrees in Geography/Computer Science and a Master of Information Systems from Baker College, complemented by an Associate's in Military Studies.
