Marie Machado has a diverse background in nursing and patient safety, with extensive experience at St. Charles Health System since February 2010, where roles have included Patient Safety Risk Manager, Safety Alert System Triage Nurse, Facilitator Coach in Process Improvement, Lean Facilitator, and Clinical Nurse. Prior to this, Marie worked as a Clinical Nurse at The University of Vermont Medical Center from September 2008 to January 2010. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
