Martin Christmann currently serves as Laborleiter at St. Bernward Krankenhaus GmbH, a position held since November 2021. Previously, Martin worked at Medizinische Hochschule Hannover from October 2012 to November 2021 as a Fachwissenschaftler (Klinischer Chemiker) and Wissenschaftlicher Assistent, focusing on academic support for the diagnostic hospital laboratory and researching molecular signaling pathways in monocytes. Prior to that, Martin spent time at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen as a PostDoc from June 2007 to September 2012, where studies concentrated on COP9-signalosome assembly and subunit composition in filamentous fungi, culminating in a PhD that characterized the fungal deneddylases DenA.
