Mark is a 41-year manufacturing management veteran with extensive experience in the automotive, electronics and major appliance industries. He started his career in 1981 with Cooper Industries then moved to General Electric, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility in Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Operations Management. Mark joined SSW in 1994 as Division VP and General Manager before moving into the role of Vice President of Marketing and later to Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Product Development. In 2016 he was promoted to President and in 2019 to President and CEO.
Mark believes in continuous improvement—“every day we want to be better than we were yesterday.” He describes SSW as a group of hard-working and enthusiastic people who truly enjoy finding new ways to make our customers’ lives better.
In 1979, Mark completed his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky. In 1981, he graduated with an MBA, also from the University of Kentucky
