Karthik Rathnam is an experienced geologist with over 20 years in the mining industry. Currently serving as Director of Resource Geology at SSR Mining Inc. since September 2017, Karthik has held various positions including Manager Resource Geology and Technical Services Superintendent. Previous experience includes being a Senior Resource Geologist at Marigold Mining Company and a Superintendent of Resource Development at African Barrick Gold. Karthik began the career as a Senior Geologist at Ararat Gold Mining Company and has also worked for National Mining Company and Associated Cement Companies Exploration. Karthik holds an MSc in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from Anna University Chennai.
