Linda Hamilton has lived in Salem Township for many years. She and her husband are involved in the family dairy farm which has been operated since the 1820s. All three of her children (all being regular library users) were raised in Salem and her daughter worked at the library while attending college. Linda served on the very first Salem-South Lyon District Library Board of Trustees as its president. She oversaw the building of the initial district library building. Linda believes a quality library is integral to any community.
