Luke Venter is an experienced Forestry Manager currently employed at SSEN Transmission since January 2025. Prior to this role, Luke worked at Scottish Woodlands Ltd from August 2021 to December 2024, where expertise in strategic forest planning, client relationship building, and operational delivery was developed. Previous experience includes serving as both Forest Manager and Assistant Forest Manager at Mcconnachie Land & Forestry Services from June 2015 to August 2021. Luke holds a Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Aberdeen and has extensive knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard, managing woodlands that are predominantly UKWAS certified.
