Ville Niemi is an experienced professional in project and operations management, currently serving as Area Project Manager at SSAB since January 2024. Prior to this, Ville held multiple roles at Metsä Fibre from December 2018 to January 2024, including Project Manager and Operations Manager, overseeing biogas plant operations. Ville's experience includes serving as Chief Operations Manager and Project Manager at EcoEnergy SF Oy from April 2016 to December 2018, leading the Äänekoski biogas plant's development. Earlier roles included Maintenance Planner and Supervisor at First Quantum Minerals LTD, Manufacturing Supervisor at Paakkola Conveyors Oy, and various technical positions at Outokumpu. Ville Niemi holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu, obtained between 2004 and 2014.
