Melissa Van Order has extensive experience in tax management, currently serving as Senior Tax Manager at SRS Distribution Inc. since July 2012, where previous roles included Tax Manager and Senior Tax Accountant. Prior to this, Melissa worked at Commercial Metals Company as a Senior Transaction Tax Accountant and at Deloitte Tax LLP as a Multi-State Tax Consultant II. Melissa's career began at Flowserve Corporation as a Transaction Tax Accountant and included a significant tenure at Michaels Stores Inc. as a Senior Tax Accountant, focusing on sales and use compliance and audit defense. Education was pursued at North Central Texas College from 2000 to 2001.
