Brian Prosser is a seasoned professional in the field of ventilation design, fire modeling, and thermal modeling, with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Mine Ventilation Services, a division of SRK Consulting since April 2016, Brian handles survey planning, workflow coordination, and business development while creating training courses for clients. As Principal Engineer at Mine Ventilation Services, Inc. since 1994, Brian has developed designs for both large and intricate mining ventilation systems and conducted educational workshops. Previous experience includes working as a Ventilation Engineer at Bechtel SAIC, where advanced ventilation models were developed for a nuclear waste repository, and a summer student position at Sycamore Fuels, gaining hands-on experience in coal mining operations. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned in 1994.
