Alex Edward is a Consultant Hydrogeologist at SRK Consulting, with experience across various Western Australian mine sites including Iron Ore, Potash, and Gold. This role involves on-site supervision of dual and mud rotary rigs, alongside desk-based reporting and geological modeling. Prior experience includes serving as a Reservist Sapper in the Royal Engineers, contributing to water infrastructure projects in Cyprus and the UK. Alex has also worked as a Hydrogeologist with Arup, engaging in global water sanitation, groundwater assessments, geothermal feasibility studies, and environmental assessments. Additional roles include voluntary work with Groundwater Relief in Sierra Leone, a Geoenvironmental Technician position at WYG Group overseeing landfill and hydrogeological projects, and community development efforts with Raleigh International in India. Alex holds an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds.
