David Gaddie is an accomplished founder and director with extensive experience in commercials, entertainment, and visual effects. Since January 2010, David Gaddie has led The Colony, a production company formed with a team of award-winning directors and content creators. In addition to establishing The Colony VR in 2016, which focuses on immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences, David Gaddie also founded Afterparty VFX in 2012, serving as a visual effects creator and creative supervisor. Notably, David Gaddie played a pivotal role in the 2019 merger that created Squeak E Clean Studios, where David Gaddie acts as a managing partner, president, and creative strategist. Earlier professional milestones include co-founding Nylon Studios and working on various directing projects at renowned companies such as B-Reel Films, Sweetshop, and Partizan. David Gaddie's educational background includes a Bachelor in Film and Television from the Victorian College of the Arts and an Accelerator for Media Professionals from Hyper Island.
