Girish Kumar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and finance. Currently serving as the Head of Development (India) at Squarepoint Capital since September 2022, Girish also holds the title of Global Head of Market Access. Prior to this role, Girish was the Core Engineering Director at Tower Research Capital, overseeing Trading Platforms and Markets in India from August 2019 to August 2022. From November 2006 to July 2019, Girish worked as a Vice President in Trading Platform Strats within the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs. Earlier career experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Flextronics Software Systems from January 2004 to November 2006. Girish holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
