Amitava Roy is an experienced software developer with a diverse background in finance and technology. Currently employed as a Software Developer at Squarepoint Capital since February 2022, Amitava previously held the position of Senior Software Developer at Epoch Capital from June 2018 to February 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Vice President and Tech Lead for Smart Order Router and Systematic Internaliser at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from May 2016 to May 2018, and working as a Senior Developer at Bloomberg LP from August 2014 to April 2016. Additionally, Amitava served as Director and Senior Developer at UBS from August 2005 to August 2014, and began a career as an ASE at Tata Consultancy Services from December 2002 to July 2005.
