Mark Hall has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analytics. Mark started their career at dunnhumby as an Insight Analyst, where they assessed consumer buying patterns and developed customer segmentation strategies. Mark then progressed to become a Retail Analyst, where they provided insights and recommendations to Metro Inc. to enhance customer loyalty and business strategies.
After that, Mark transitioned to a technical role as a Senior Data Scientist at dunnhumby. In this position, they developed advanced analytical techniques to predict consumer behavior and increase sales for various markets, including Tesco Ireland, Tesco Hungary, Tesco Korea, and Metro Canada.
In 2016, Mark moved to Square Enix as a Senior Manager, where they grew the analytics function from a small team to a department of around 20 analysts and data scientists. Mark managed teams responsible for online media measurement, web tracking and optimization, as well as assessing in-game user behavior and player feedback to provide strategic insights.
In 2021, Mark was promoted to Director of Business Intelligence at Square Enix. Overall, they have proven expertise in driving strategic decision-making through data analysis and has consistently delivered results in their various roles throughout their career.
Mark Hall attended the University of Warwick, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics. Mark also pursued a Graduate Certificate in Statistics at Birkbeck, University of London.
