Melina Cetrangolo has a diverse work experience in various roles. Melina started working at Volunteers Around the World in 2017 as a Team Leader Internship, where they interviewed and selected volunteers for medical outreach trips in the Dominican Republic. In 2019, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Instituto Habilitado de Hermanas Capuchinas, teaching Spanish-speaking high school students in Uruguay to become conversational English speakers. Melina also worked as a Microbiology Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Center For Extended Care in the same year. From 2021 to 2023, they served as a Research Enrollment Coordinator II at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on recruiting English and Spanish speaking patients for a longitudinal research study. Currently, they are employed as a Patient Engagement Specialist at Sprinter Health.
Melina Cetrangolo attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Economics. In 2020, they also spent a semester at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as part of their studies in Economics.
