Alma Rosa Chanelo is an experienced biologist currently serving as an In Vitro Pharmacology Senior Research Associate at SpringWorks Therapeutics since June 2023 and as a Research Associate III at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, Inc. since October 2021. Alma's expertise includes cloning, sequencing plasmids, and providing experimental design feedback. As a co-founder of the Hispanic/Latino Employee Resource Group at AskBio, Alma has led initiatives in community outreach and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at KBI Biopharma, where Alma performed cell-based assays and supported method development, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, contributing to biology education. Alma holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Carolina University.
