Ryan Mahoney is an experienced project manager and museum expert with a strong background in managing exhibitions and collections. Currently serving as Project Manager at Springfield Museums since August 2021, Ryan is responsible for developing gallery themes and overseeing exhibition installations. Previously, Ryan held leadership roles as Executive Director at Ireland's Great Hunger Museum and the Irish American Heritage Museum, where management of administrative functions, strategic planning, and collections care were key responsibilities. With additional experience as a curator and collections manager at various museums, Ryan has demonstrated expertise in exhibit development, programming, and collections management, backed by academic credentials including a Master's degree in Public History from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from St. John Fisher University.
