John Bell is an experienced integrity analyst currently at Springer Nature Group since June 2021, where responsibilities include advising on research integrity and publication ethics while generating analytical reports on manuscript issues. Previously, John served as team leader for BMC, focusing on achieving article-processing targets during the COVID-19 pandemic, and managed a team of Publishing Assistants on the Scientific Reports journal at Springer Nature. With a foundational background in editorial operations coordination at BioMed Central, John has also held various editorial roles, including student editor at The Lancet. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University and a Master’s Degree in Publishing from Kingston University.
