Lacey is thrilled to be a part of the Springboard team as a Program Developer. A fierce advocate for children, Lacey begin her education career as a 2014 Teach for America Corps Member in Memphis, TN. She has served as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade teacher, a Network Science Instructional Coach, and an Assistant Principal. Lacey is passionate about supporting teachers, and she has also served in different roles mentoring, coaching, and providing professional development to teachers across the country. Prior to joining Springboard full-time, Lacey also served as a Program Coach, supporting schools across the country with Springboard programming implementation.
Lacey holds an Ed.S in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University, an M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction from Christian Brothers University, and a B.S in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland. Her favorite children's book is "The Day the Crayons Quit," and that is her annual First Day of School Book to read to students!
