Bentley brings a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to his role as Partnerships Director at Springboard Collaborative. He utilizes a background spanning education leadership, program management, curriculum development, consulting, and business development in the K-12 sector. As a Foster America Fellow, he oversaw innovative programs that benefited at-risk youth in New York City, showcasing his commitment to educational equity. Additionally, Bentley served as an Elementary Academic Dean, overseeing the academic program and driving student performance for over 250 students in East Harlem. He also leans on his experience from his role as Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America, were he coached and developed K-12 teachers' instructional practice to impact academic achievement for over 900 students.
His passion for collaboration and relationship-building, coupled with his strategic mindset, position him to support positive change in education. Bentley holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Texas Tech University, and Masters in Education from the Relay Graduate School of Education. Bentley lives in New York City with his wife and two boys. His favorite childhood book is Forged by Fire by Sharon Draper.
