Kerry Symon

Kerry Symon has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. They started their career as a Clinical Psychologist at Cumberland Diagnostic Center in 2011 and later served as the Director of Mobile Crisis Team at Interfaith Medical Center from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Visiting Nurse Service of New York as a Program Manager and later held roles as a Program Director and Associate Director, CMHS Programs and Clinical Operations. From 2014 to 2020, Kerry worked as a Clinical Psychologist in private practice, providing psychotherapy and counseling services. In 2018, they became a Supervising Psychologist at Mental Health Service Corps before transitioning to a role as an Associate Deputy Director at The City of New York Office of Labor Relations in 2019. At this organization, Kerry played a pivotal role in designing and implementing an electronic health record system and adapting workflows for virtual services. They then served as the Deputy Director at City of New York/Employee Assistance Program, overseeing clinical operations and providing critical incident responses. Currently, Kerry holds the position of Director, Clinical Partnerships at Spring Health, starting in May 2022.

Kerry Symon holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Fordham University. Afterwards, Kerry pursued further education at The Wright Institute, where they obtained a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, Kerry has obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
