Role Summary
The company is seeking to hire a highly analytical person to lead fill a very impactful role leading the company in the attainment of its financial goals and providing analytical support to major company decisions. The position will report to the CFO, work closely with other members of senior management, and initially be an individual contributor role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the company’s financial plan through the creation of financial models and coordination with senior management.
- Lead evaluation of growth opportunities with insightful financial analyses and effectively communicate the results to members of management, the Board of Directors and investors, as necessary.
- Establish financial planning and ongoing reporting processes including annual planning, monthly forecast, and long-range planning.
- Create reporting packages and lead the preparation of presentation materials for the executive team, Board, and investors.
- Provide visibility and drive accountability for the financial performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operating metrics.
- Partner closely with accounting team on the monthly close process, and other key finance elements to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
- Provide financial leadership to shape overall strategy and business direction through direct partnership with the leaders and their respective teams.
- Lead setting key company performance metrics and report regularly on company performance.
- Provide decision support and business guidance to management through financial analyses.
- Create insightful financial reporting to the Board of Directors and senior management.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of business experience in analytical finance roles
- Fluency in the use of Excel to build financial models incorporating full integration of income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Highly capable of intelligently analyzing different types of data and reporting effectively to management the results of analyses.
- Strategic thinker, with a detail- and process-oriented way of working.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the proven ability to work across varying levels to solve problems and achieve results.
- Ability to take ownership of fast-paced projects, with rapidly changing priorities.
- Strong team player with humility and the hunger to advance the success of the business.
- Well-developed skills for working effectively with colleagues throughout the organization.
- MBA preferred, with required BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another business-related field and a strong understanding of GAAP accounting.
Employment Type
This is a full-time position on-site at our San Francisco Clinic.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $180K – $230K. Salary is based on several factors including job related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees.
