Robert Shapiro has a diverse background in event management, sound technology, and real estate appraisal. Currently serving as an Announcer and Sound Technician at Spotlight Events, Inc. since January 2024, Robert performs at dance competitions across the Mid-West and Western United States. As a Certified Assistant County Assessor for the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission since December 2018, Robert contributes expertise in assessing property values. Additionally, Robert has owned and operated Unforgettable Entertainment-Professional Disc Jockey Service since January 1998 and has been involved in various roles at Newsday Media Group as a Marketing Event Assistant since September 2018. Robert's extensive history in real estate appraisal includes positions at Metro-West Appraisal Co., LLC, Real Property Consultants, and Frank Ciotta & Associates. Early career experiences include serving as Promotions Director at WLUX and as an On Field Host for the Long Island Ducks Baseball Team. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in TRF Production from Syracuse University.
