Preetham Salehundam is an experienced engineer currently serving as Engineer II at Spotify since January 2021, focusing on the development and maintenance of scalable APIs for audiobook metadata delivery and partner onboarding. Previously, Preetham worked as a Research Assistant at Wright State University, conducting vandalism detection in Wikipedia through data scraping and analysis, and also held roles as a teaching assistant and technology committee member to enhance graduate student experiences. Prior experience includes an Associate Consultant position at Capgemini, where data ingestion pipelines and distributed Machine Learning models were developed, and an internship with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited as a Network Engineer Intern, monitoring internet packet loss and assisting in 4G antenna installation. Preetham holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Wright State University, obtained from 2018 to 2020.
