Deyna Barnett has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 at Best Buy as a Multi-Channel Salesperson. In 2021, they joined School of Rock as an IT Support Specialist, followed by working as a Specialist for IT Operations at Showpad in 2022. Currently, Deyna is working as a Senior Information Technology Specialist at SpotHero, starting in 2023.

From 2012 to 2014, Deyna attended the College of DuPage, where they received an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
In 2016, they briefly enrolled in Chicago State University, studying Sociology.
Since 2017, Deyna has been studying at Southern Connecticut State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology. Deyna is currently on track to complete their degree.
