Sebastián Felipe Torres Garfe is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Spot Meetings since January 2023. Prior to this role, Sebastián worked at Globant as a software engineer focusing on internal software for Autodesk from January 2022 to January 2023. Sebastián Felipe has also held various positions, including NodeJS Developer at Enigma.art, software engineer at Xompass Inc. working with IoT and AI for retail analytics, and advisory software engineer at InstaDelivery. Sebastián was a project leader and software developer for the language practice platform Toc&Talk!, and has experience as a backend software engineer at Jumpitt Labs, designing APIs and database systems. Additional early experience includes research internships at CERN, where Sebastián contributed to the ATLAS Experiment using machine learning techniques. Sebastián holds a degree in Civil Informatics from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria and a mid-level technician degree in Electronics from Colegio Don Orione.
