Jim Winnek is an experienced educator and counselor with a diverse background in individual, family, and group counseling services, currently serving as a Therapist at Real Talk Counseling since May 2019. In addition to clinical roles, Jim has been involved in sports confidence coaching with Laser Focused Sports Confidence Coaching since November 2017, assisting athletes in overcoming barriers to peak performance. Jim's extensive experience includes serving as a School and Career Counselor at South Charlotte Middle School, where counseling sessions addressed the academic and social needs of students. Additionally, Jim has held numerous leadership positions within Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, including Athletic Director and Head Coach for various sports. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. John Fisher College.
