Xavier Varin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the legal and compliance field. Xavier is currently employed at Sportradar as the SVP, Global Head of Ethics & Compliance since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Sportradar as the Head of Compliance from June 2020 to March 2023. Before joining Sportradar, Xavier worked at Veridos as the Legal and Compliance Manager from July 2018 to May 2020. Xavier also gained experience at Allianz SE as the Legal and Compliance Counsel for the CEE Region from October 2015 to June 2018. Xavier previously worked at Allianz Global Investors as a Compliance Officer from January 2013 to September 2015, and at Allianz Asset Management AG as a Legal Counsel from September 2012 to December 2012. Xavier began their legal career as a Lawyer at 24IP Law Group from February 2012 to May 2012 and as a Trainee Lawyer at CORNET VINCENT SEGUREL from February 2011 to August 2011. Xavier also had trainee lawyer positions at Conlan Cummings Lawyers from August 2010 to December 2010 and at Barthélémy Avocats from March 2010 to July 2010.

Xavier Varin has a strong background in law, beginning with their Bachelor's degree in Private Law from the Université de Caen Normandie in 2004-2007. Xavier continued their education with a Master's degree in Business Law from the Université de Caen Normandie in 2007-2008, followed by a Master's degree in Corporate and Employment Law from the Université de Rouen in 2008-2009. In 2010-2011, Xavier completed the Bar Exam at EDAGO - Ecole des Avocats du Grand Ouest, becoming a fully qualified Lawyer.

Xavier also pursued further professional development with various certifications. In 2012, they obtained a European and International Economic Law Certificate from the University of Augsburg. In 2014, they earned a Claritasâ„¢ Investment Certificate from the CFA Institute. More recently, in 2022, Xavier obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles, and in 2023, they gained an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Certificate from LinkedIn.
