Len Lecci, Ph.D. is a Professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he is currently a full professor and core faculty member in the Ph.D. program. Len has published two textbooks and over 50 articles in a wide range of journals. He has also secured grant funding for his research from the National Science Foundation, Alzheimer’s North Carolina, and the American Psychological Association, and he was invited to brief congress on his research examining health fears.
Len has served as the Director of Clinical Services at MARS Memory- Health Network. He has been awarded numerous teaching awards such as the Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award, the Distinguished Teaching Professorship Award, the Board of Trustees Teaching Excellence Award, and the Board of Governor’s Teaching Award.
Len holds a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Arizona State University.
