Debra Barklin is the Development Officer for North Wales at Sported. Debra was previously the Head of Growing the Game at Hockey Wales, where they were responsible for leading the development of Hockey across Wales at grass roots. Debra has also held positions as an Active Young People co-ordinator at Powys County Council and a Claims Officer at Cambrian Training Company.

Debra Barklin has an AAT level 3 Advanced certificate in accounting from Avado, an AAT Foundation level 2 in accounting from Avado, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports Science from Glyndwr University.

Their manager is Erica Thornton, Head of Delivery & Development. They are on a team with Dee Pearson - Development Officer, Scotland, Eleanor Blackstock - Scotland Development Officer, and Polly Crook - South Wales Development Officer.
