Cruz Hogan is a performance scientist at the Western Australian Institute of Sport since November 2021, providing scientific support to elite athletes and coaches. Currently, Cruz serves as an adjunct lecturer at The University of Western Australia and as an education officer with Sport Integrity Australia, focusing on anti-doping and ethics in sport for athletes at various levels. Prior roles include participation and pathways coordinator for Paralympics Australia, industry PhD candidate in physiology at WAIS, and various coaching and facilitation positions aimed at talent identification and athlete development. Cruz holds a PhD in Sport Physiology and a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Science, with a foundation in health education from St Marks Anglican School Community.
