Franco Pomponi is a multifaceted opera singer with extensive performance experience across prestigious global venues. Currently active at the Opera Festival of Chicago, Franco portrays Michele in Il Tabarro, and plays the role of Escamillo at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Additional notable performances include the title role in Don Giovanni at the Guangzhou Opera House and Grand Théâtre de Genève, as well as roles in Eugene Onegin and Carmen with various companies. Franco's artistic journey is supported by a robust educational background, holding degrees from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, The Juilliard School, and the Lyric Opera of Chicago's Young Artist Program.
