Alexander Kain is a Limnologist II with extensive experience in limnology, water quality assessment, and planktonic species analysis, currently employed by the Spokane Tribe of Indians since October 2014. Responsibilities include examining reservoir productivity, supervising technical staff in sample collection and identification, and making scientific recommendations for reservoir management. Prior to this role, Kain worked as a chemist at AIT Laboratories, a laboratory technician at Indiana University Bloomington where freshwater plankton was identified and quantified, and as a field and lab technician for the Indiana Clean Lakes Program. Kain holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hanover College.
