Rachel R. is a skilled veterinary professional with extensive experience in both clinical and independent settings. Currently serving as the Lead Registered Veterinary Technician at Sploot Veterinary Care since June 2022, Rachel has also been an Independent Contractor and Canine Caretaker at Rae's Retreat since August 2015, managing a private daycare for dogs and exotic pets. Previous positions include Certified Veterinary Technician roles at Washington Park Veterinary Clinic and Quebec Highlands Animal Clinic, where responsibilities involved assisting in surgeries, patient examinations, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication. Rachel began in the veterinary field as a CVT at Walking Paws Rehab, following an internship at Broomfield Veterinary Hospital, and has experience in marketing communications from previous roles at California Pizza Kitchen and Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill.
