Hans Matter serves as the Ärztlicher Leiter Notfallmedizin at Spital Uster since September 2022, following a tenure as Co-Chefarzt Innere Medizin und Ärztlicher Leiter interdisziplinäre Notfallstation at Luzerner Kantonsspital. Prior roles include Chefarzt at the Institut für klinische Notfallmedizin at Spital Limmattal from 2010 to July 2021, where responsibilities encompassed the establishment of the emergency department and the founding of a primary care emergency practice. Extensive experience includes leadership positions and involvement in various professional organizations such as the SGNOR and contributions to emergency medical training and systems in the Canton of Zurich. Educational qualifications include a Dr. med. degree from the University of Zurich, obtained from 1986 to 1993, and a Matura from Stiftsschule Einsiedeln from 1979 to 1986.
