Concetta Tomaino is a highly experienced professional in the field of music therapy and its applications to health and wellness. Currently serving as an Advisor at Spiritune since November 2018, Tomaino has held the position of Executive Director at the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function since January 2000. Additionally, Tomaino is an Adjunct Professor at Lehman College and a member of the International Advisory Council for the Music and Health Research Collaboratory (MaHRC) at the University of Toronto. Contributions to the National Parkinson Foundation as a faculty member of ATTP II and leadership roles at the International Association for Music & Medicine Inc. are also notable. Tomaino's prior experience includes an associate position at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and serving as Sr. VP of Music Therapy Services at Centerlight Health System. Educational achievements include advanced degrees in Music Therapy from New York University and a BA in Music Performance from Stony Brook University.
