Alexander Bellamy Ceng Fraes

Vice President - Regional And Business Jet Programs at Spirit AeroSystems

Alexander Bellamy has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry, holding various leadership roles in companies such as Spirit AeroSystems, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, BOMBARDIER, BAE Systems, and British Airways.

At Spirit AeroSystems, Bellamy currently serves as the Vice President for Regional and Business Jet Programs, overseeing the profit and loss responsibilities for the company's Regional & Business Jet portfolio, which includes projects related to EVTOL, Wing, Fuselage, Empennage, and Engine Nacelles.

Previously, at Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Bellamy held the position of Chief Development Officer, where they were entrusted with delegated authority and a multi-billion dollar budget to develop a long-term and sustainable business in the commercial aerospace OEM sector. Alexander successfully established a new next-generation regional jet family, achieved over 400 provisional sales commitments, and reduced bill of material costs across the supply chain partners.

While at BOMBARDIER, Bellamy was responsible for managing the flight test program teams and engineering for the CSeries aircraft. Alexander played a significant role in the planning and execution of flight tests across multiple test locations and was directly responsible for a team of 130 people.

Prior to that, at BAE Systems, Bellamy held the position of UCAS Strategy and Technology Engineering Lead and Engineering Manager for Utility UAV. Alexander also worked as a Senior Flight Test Engineer, focusing on various engineering and testing responsibilities.

Bellamy began their career at British Airways as a Projects and Design Engineer.

Alexander Bellamy CEng FRAeS has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Systems Engineering from The University of Salford, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Alexander also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from Lancaster University in 2007-2008. Additionally, they are a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certified by the Engineering Council since 2010. Prior to their higher education, they attended The Deepings School for their secondary education from 1991 to 1998.
