Bounpaseuth Hong is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as SMTS II at Spirent Communications since November 2000, Bounpaseuth leads the design of advanced network emulator products, having architected the WCDMA network emulator with capabilities that span R99, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, LTE, and 5G NR. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Motorola, where Bounpaseuth designed and integrated call processing modules for CDMA base stations, and System Integration Engineer at Bell Laboratories, focusing on the integration of the 5ESS switch and ISDN subsystems.
