Anthony Tolcher is a seasoned leader in clinical research and oncology, serving as CEO, Founder, and Director of Clinical Research at NEXT Oncology San Antonio since January 2018, where the focus is on advancing cancer treatment through high-quality Phase I clinical trials. Prior to this role, Anthony Tolcher co-founded START- South Texas Accelerated Research Therapeutics and held the position of Director of Clinical Research from April 2007 to 2017. Experience also includes serving as Director of Clinical Research at the Institute for Drug Development and as a Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Anthony Tolcher's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of British Columbia, a specialization in Oncology from the same institution, and completion of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Toronto.
