Rubén Paz Riveira is a Senior Software Engineer at Spire since November 2022, leading initiatives within the world's largest multipurpose satellite constellation to promote sustainable insights about Earth. Previously, Rubén served as a Staff Software Engineer at Elephant Healthcare, facilitating connectivity in the global digital health network, and held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Fluidic Analytics, focusing on proteins in biological processes. Before that, Rubén was a Technical Lead at Repositive, enhancing data accessibility for genetics research, and a Developer Relations Engineer at source{d}, analyzing developer activity through AI. Early career roles included Software Developer at Zadia Software and Glofox, where the focus was on mobile business solutions, as well as an internship at Oesia. Rubén is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at The Open University and has previously studied Computer Engineering and Technical Software Engineering.
