Chelsea Thompson is a Senior Associate Attorney at Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, where assistance is provided in the litigation of various employment and labor matters in state and federal courts since August 2017. As an Adjunct Professor at West Virginia State University from August 2016 to May 2019, instruction focused on the American court systems within the Criminal Justice Department. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Attorney at Robinson & McElwee PLLC and as an Intern Clerk at Roanoke County Circuit Court under Judge James R. Swanson. Chelsea Thompson also served as a Burks Scholar at Washington and Lee University School of Law, teaching legal writing and research to first-year law students. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from West Virginia University.
