Andy Boenau is a seasoned professional in transportation engineering and storytelling, currently serving as the Transportation Engineering Program Manager for the City of Richmond, Virginia since November 2023. As the Founder of Speakeasy Media LLC since July 2016, Andy has focused on teaching individuals to utilize cameras and keyboards to craft impactful narratives. Roles as Marketing Lead for spikeview, Producer for the podcasts How We Get Around and Urbanism Speakeasy, and leadership positions at Stantec, Gotcha, Alta Planning + Design, Timmons Group, and Walk Lobby TV reflect Andy's commitment to enhancing mobility, community livability, and public space engagement. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
